The Colorado Science Olympiad web site provides information to coaches, students, administrators, and the public on the Science Olympiad regional and state competitions, registration, and more. Please click on a topic link in the left-hand navigation bar for more information.
Final standings from both regional tournaments are now posted in the Competition Results section. Teams invited to compete in the state tournament on April 21 at Cherry Creek High School are listed in the "Invited teams and team numbers" document in the Schedule & Forms section, where we will also begin posting forms for the state tournament. Again, congratulations to everyone who competed in the regional tournaments this year, and to the volunteers who continue to make this experience possible!
Colorado Science Olympiad has been notified that several participants have latex allergies. In order to provide a safe environment for competition, site accommodations will be made. Coaches should make sure that their teams are aware of these changes, and arrange testing and setup of Mission Possible devices accordingly. Please see the POLICIES page.
Yes, you read that correctly: the Science Olympiad rules manual, previously printed and mailed to competing teams after registration, is now available as a free PDF download from the national site. You will still need to register and pay for your team membership, but you can download the rules and get to work without waiting for the mail!
It takes an army of volunteers to run the regional and state tournaments. And that goes double or more for a national tournament. Please consider your willingness to help at a regional or state tournament next year, and help us prepare for the national tournament in May 2018, at Colorado State University in Fort Collins! Be part of the amazing experience! Let us know via the Contact Information page.
